You may also be reading this and thinking that some, or all, of the statements above apply to you.
Or you may recognize yourself in your child’s behaviour and struggles.
If any of this sounds familiar to you, you may want to consider an assessment. An assessment (a psycho-educational assessment), can help you understand how your child’s brain works. It will identify what their strengths are. This will help you and their teacher work with your child in a way that makes sense to them.

Hi! My name is Caroline. I help you, and parents like you, understand how to best help their child learn, grow and progress to the best of their abilities.
I also work with adults who are looking to understand themselves better and are looking to take their life to the next level.
As a a psychologist that is dedicated to assessments, and a former French Immersion teacher, I am passionate about empowering children and individuals learn and succeed. At school, in the workplace and where ever life takes you.
Helping individuals succeed, thrive, be happy, and be their best self is my goal. It is why I do what I do. As a psychologist, I am able to identify what strategies are going to be effective for parents (and teachers), how to get off the hamster wheel of life and finally see progress. Using our meeting time and assessment tools allows me to make recommendations that will be meaningful to your child and your family.
I have worked with individuals from the ages of 3 yers old to retired adults. I have worked in many schools (public and private), in a variety of roles, in numerous settings (English, Francophone and French Immersion, urban and rural) throughout the province of Alberta. At this time, I have worked with over 2000 families and completed over 1200 psycho-educational assessments.
I have worked in nearly all aspects of Education. First as an Educational Assistant, then as a French Immersion teacher. I have also worked for the Minister of Education and developed Provincial Achievement Tests. I have significant experience navigating education in Alberta and know how you can get the supports you need. Every assessment wraps up with a discussion of your next steps after you leave the office, what to do and who to speak with in order to get supports.
I also work with professional athletes and coaches (CFL & NHL), olympic hopefuls, olympians and olympic coaches, You Tubers, EA Athletes, and competitive high school athletes.
When not at work, I enjoy ballet & ballroom dance, photography, gardening, and practice various meditation techniques. I am also a Reiki master from two different lineages. It doesn’t quite make me a Jedi, but I think it’s pretty close.
I am a mom so I understand what it is like to be a parent and worry about a child.
I am also a mom to a very pampered dog.
